Today, I have three things to say.

1. Calculus class is interesting these days. (^_^)
We always have amusing moments. Like today:

T: I've decided to lower my aims today.
R: Good thinking.

T: Have you finished the first question, Kate?
K: No... sorry.
T: Yes, I was alerted by the closed book.
H: She's on to you Kate!

T: And so, you can see the derivative of sinx is...
R: cosx! How Exciting.
T: Well that was a bit cheeky.
R: No, I meant it. It was the hightlight of my day.
T: I know it was.

2. I went to a 123 dollar shop today. Two dollar shops are so interesting. Like garage sales, but permanent, and the items are all in order and in relatively good condition.
Okay so maybe not like a garage sale. Actually, I've never been to a garage sale, that's just what I assume it would be like.

Anyway, there were all these little gift boxes with messages like, "Love often comes out of friendship, but love is never in friendship."
I don't get it.

After we left, my mum said, "How can a 2 dollar shop make money?" And we were speculating about it. Like, if you think about it, even if they have lots of customers, which they don't, each item only sells for two dollars.
Therefore,
a) the cost price of their goods is next to nothing
b) rent is really cheap for them
c) both
d) something else which actually makes sense.

Any ideas on d), anyone?

I googled it, to see if it was being translated any faster than the site where I read it off. Results were quite amusing - there are several sites that go on about whether or not Akiyama x Nao (the two main protaganists) will get together, because of the fact that Akiyama occasionally says things like,
"You mistake me... I'm just another one of Kanzaki Nao's belongings" and
"Didn't I promise!? ...I'll keep you safe. Just trust in me."
Funny how everyone looks for the romance in everything. Seriously. So many misunderstandings because of it. And weird dinner conversations at Kahu... XD
